Since 2002 , the Purple Jazz Association has been working in Bergerac and Périgord to promote contemporary music, all forms of Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Rock, and also to bring together all musical genres, particularly Classical Music.

In 2004 , Jazz Pourpre launched its first Festival and got off to a strong start by inviting internationally renowned artists, Stacey Kent, Moutin Réunion Quartet, Fabrice Eulry , without forgetting groups from the South West whose reputation is often established at the national level.

In the following years , Jazz Pourpre repeated with the biggest names on the international Jazz scene and continues in this great Jazz Music Summer Tradition!
